GOODISH

Google Inc  and satellite TV operator Dish Network Corp  are jointly testing a television programming search service. The  service will run on TV set-top boxes which use elements of Google's Android wireless operating system. It allows users to search content from Dish as well as websites such as YouTube, and to personalize the lineup of shows. Google hopes to link the new service with its TV ad-brokering business, allowing it to target ads to individual households based on customer data. Such a service would be the latest among many media and technology companies’ attempts to merge video on the Web with traditional broadcast television. The search service will be tested  on a small group of Google employees and their families.

How I Helped a friend to Refinance

I just want to share a fine story. I cannot believe that I am capable of helping someone save almost
1000$/month or $12000 per year. My friend complained to me she was paying 11.5% onterest on her home
and there is a clause in the mortagage which states the rate will increase every 6 months.
She was already paying 2000$ for the mortgage. I researched all the refinancing options for her.
She had a bad credit score and her score was ruined becuase of her husband's business.
It was so difficult to refinance and also she found out there were some tax liens on the house.
I came across Neighborhood corporation of America(NACA) through TV.I told my friend about their
program and took her to one of their open house programme in October 2007. Then she met one of the
coordinnators of NACA in January 2008. But nothing happened and there was no other chance of
getting the refinace due to ppor credit score and tax liens. After 2 months i asked my friend to write a letter
to NACA and tell them that she is hoping NACA can find something for her.Again, nothing worked.
All of a sudden, she received a letter from her current lender that her mortgage has been modified
and she has to pay inteest rate of only 5.5%. her monthly payment was reduced to $1000 per month.
This happend when she lost all hopes and we believe it was just the result of letters from NACA.

Can you earn money using BloggerWave?

I received a hot tip about the next hottest trend in online marketing. It was about a company called
Bloggerwave. Bloggerwave.com is a blog advertising network  which you can use to earn money with your blog. You have to register with them. They have a network of advertisers. Once you creat an account
and register your URL with Bloggerwave, you have to choose a job and then write about it on your blog.
Bloggerwave will check your post and if it is approved, you get paid.

I did some reserach on Bloggerwave and the company was started in 2007 and the shares of the
company are trading on OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol BLGW.OB.
I found some complaints from bloggers who did not get paid. Looks like they had some accounting issues with PayPal in the year 2007. I also found many bloggers reporting they have received prompt payment from
BloggerWave. Best way to know is to try it out.

SuperBowl 2010

It's the Superbowl time of the year. Every year we hear the same story, irrespective of
the state of the economy companies are willing to pay millions for a minute of TV time.
Is it really worth to pay millions for a 30 second commercials on Superbowl?
Is it Justified? Do you think the shareholders of public companies should have a say in this?
Companies which are ready to spend 2-3 millions for a spot on Superbowl commercial
don't try to save the job of employees making $40K a year.
May be people think, companies are wise enough and they know if it makes sense or not
for the company. But if they are public companies they are spending the share holders money.
We know companies that have paid multi million dollar contracts for displaying their name on
sports stadiums and have gone bankrupt.
